Before she vowed to help Isaac--before she was trapped in faerie glass--before she agreed to serve the High King, Ariella was only a forest nymph who missed her sister.

When faeries first started making their way into the human world, Ariella wanted nothing to do with it. When her sister Ildri left their world behind and didn’t return, Ariella set out to find her.

Agreeing to serve the High King, she was delivered to the human world where she found nature ever-lacking and humans to be cruel and undeserving.

Bitterness and anger took over for a long time until she found herself trapped and freed and made a vow to change for the better.
