And His Name Was Rumpelstiltskin

True Tales of The Light Keeper Series, Volume 1

The only thing worse than trusting a faerie is double-crossing one.

Before his name was known far and wide, there was a faerie many called an elf. All knew to be wary of the trickster known for swindling humans with his games of chance and making deals they could never satisfy. But even cunning faeries get lonely.

When Rumpelstiltskin hears the angelic voice of Marie, a poor farmer’s daughter, he crafts a plan to secure her as his wife. By spinning straw into gold, he spares her life from the lord over their lands and she agrees to marry him.

When a Light Keeper claims he can set her free if she can learn the faerie’s name, she betrays the one who saved her life and he did not forget it.
